The Main event . . .
So, Lisa and Joel are getting married in Las Vegas. Why, exactly, is that?
Firstly, if you're reading this, you either know Joel, Lisa, or both, so you know that pretty much everybody gets along with Lisa. Joel less so, but he's generally tolerable when Lisa's around. So, rest assured that we wish we could invite everyone we've ever met, and we're sure we'd all have a blast! However, inevitably, the groom's side would be ackwardly smaller than the bride's. Fact.
Secondly, planning a wedding can be stressful, so we want to minimize the anxiety by keeping the guest list to the bare minimum - wedding party and nuclear family only. Plus, Joel's grandmother lives in Vegas.
Thirdly, IT'S LAS VEGAS!

What happens in Vegas . . .
Family and wedding party will be staying at the Paris Hotel, centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip. Almost any Vegas attraction will be within walking distance. Immediately outside is a view of the Bellagio fountain. Coordinating with the wedding colors, Joel and Lisa, as well as the respective wedding party couples, will be staying in the Paris' spacious red rooms.
We will all be arriving and departing at different times, but while we're all together, there will be no shortage of things to do. Everyone is encouraged to get to know each other, but also to enjoy their vacation as they see fit on their own schedules. Of course, the ceremony is the one exception.
The ceremony will be June 16th, 2011 at dusk at the beautiful 8-acre Springs Preserve eco-conscience botanical garden. The ceremony will be conducted by our good friend Craig and after the vows are exchanged, we'll have refreshmens while professional photos are taken by Red Rock Studios. We'll then all meet back for dinner, after which those who wish to end the night early can do so while the rest of the party continue to celebrate however they choose.
Friday, we'll start to incrementally depart. Members of the Bride's family will leave early to get a head start on the reception in Canton. Bride and groom will leave shortly thereafter, while other party members stay just a little longer.
